Tough Interview Questions – Are You a Good Manager?

When you are applying for a managerial role you are usually asked if you think you are a good manager. Most of the candidates just say ” Yes!” to this question and sometimes they do not realise that this is not a good answer at all! Instead of just saying “Yes!” the candidates should try to explain why they think they are a good manger and which are the skills that make them a good manager. Giving a simple answer does not help them at all!

For example, you can mention one of the next skills:

-a good manager should always know how to deal with his team: he needs to know how to develop, how to coach and how to mentor his team;

-a manager should always be able to delegate work, supervise it and, of course, he needs to be able to check for mistakes – it is really important to find the mistakes and the problems and to be able to solve them;

-a good administrator must have the ability to create great business strategies for their department in order to be able to achieve their goals;

-a manager should always know when there are certain problems which affect the organisation;

-a good manager should always be able to inspire and motivate his team in order to be able to achieve their goals;

You should know that a person can be a good manager only when he is able to communicate, o understand and help his team in order to get the best results.
